Responsible sourcing starts at field level.

Responsible sourcing is part of sound cocoa operations. ProcurePro aims to strengthen visibility, accountability, and appropriate safeguards across its purchasing network while supporting the long-term resilience of cocoa-growing communities.

Six areas we are building, in phases.

Our program will develop in phases and will be aligned with applicable Ghanaian requirements and agreed partner standards.

    Traceability

    We are developing processes to identify approved supply participants, capture sourcing locations, maintain transaction records, and improve visibility from purchase through delivery.

    Safeguarding

    ProcurePro does not condone child labour or activities that place children at risk. Field concerns should be reported and handled through approved escalation and remediation procedures.

  • 03

    Farmer Engagement

    We seek respectful, transparent relationships and clear communication with farmers, farmer groups, and local buying representatives.

  • 04

    Environmental Responsibility

    We support responsible production and sourcing practices and will work with qualified partners on applicable environmental and land-use requirements.

    Training

    District teams and support personnel will receive role-appropriate guidance on operations, documentation, quality, safeguards, and issue escalation.

  • 06

    Speak-Up Culture

    Employees and partners should have a confidential route for reporting suspected misconduct, misuse of funds, safety issues, or breaches of ProcurePro policy.
